Course Description

The qualification is 2 hrs in duration. The start time is 0900hrs and finish is 1230hrs. We extend the training time to give you more opportunity to practice on our extensive range of wound packing simulators to ensure you feel confident. This extra time also covers content of a first aid kit including how to identify a fake tourniquet.
We have an onsite shop with leading brands in shears, haemostats, trauma dressings and tourniquets. You can practice with these items and receive a very generous discount.

This course suits contractors and employees working in forestry, including harvesting, civil engineering, mechanised ground preparation, planting, fencing, pesticide application, forest nursery activities, etc. Training covers procedures for more remote areas where help is delayed or limited.
This Forestry first aid training covers special hazards such as severe chainsaw cuts, crush injuries, hypothermia and Lyme disease.
